Basbousa literally means ‘just a kiss’, it is a syrupy sweet semolina cake with a notable buttery flavor, a lovely spongy sandy texture, made extra moist with a generous shower of sugar syrup. Our Basbousa Is made using our ancestor’s recipe with a touch of innovation, it is originally made in Egypt.
